WOW… i just realized how incredibly behind I am at posting photo sessions!

I’ve been photographing Brandi since she was a Senior in High School.  Back before i had a DSLR camera!  Anyway – Brandi was due to have her second baby (a Girl!!) and as we did with her first pregnancy – she wanted some pregnancy photos before Miss Alexiah came.

So, she and her cute family drove up to the park in Pendleton and we took some fun pictures!

Brandi’s son Izayah just turned 2, so he was definately a hand full when it came to getting those “precious” big brother photos.

But we worked with him :)

 

Is this a perfectly round belly or what?  (I can tell you for a fact, mine NEVER looked this good!)

 

This is the first time a guy has EVER gotten the “heart” right on the very first try.

Brandon – you are a CHAMP.

Mike+Kim+The Boys

Earlier this month, I photographed Mike and Kim alone – but last weekend, I met them all again to get some pictures of the whole family and then of just mom and the boys.

Last year, when I photographed the boys, they had just purchased a new Chocolate Lab Puppy named Taz.  I took a really cute photo of the boys with Taz from behind and labeled it “friends forever”.  

This year, Kim wanted me to take another one, to replicate the one where Taz was a puppy.

Now, Taz definately still ACTS like a puppy, but most certainly doesn’t look like one!

Needless to say… the picture wasn’t quite as perfect as it was the year before :)

After the crazy pictures of Taz, we drove to Shadyside Park for a little change in venue.

Allison + Madison + Kaden

The past weekend, Allison and I met to do their annual family pictures and Kaden was just not in a good mood.  He had just woken up, it was cold and windy and just generally not fun!

We went ahead and did our best, but knew that the pictures of Kaden were not going to be award winning to say the least.  So, since today was a really nice day… we went ahead and met up again tonight for Round 2… in hopes of catching Kaden with a smile.

And oh my goodness … did it work!

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’ll remember this sweet family from back in the Spring. 

 

How adorable are these kids?

 

The first photo shoot we had, yielded a large majority of the pictures without Kaden.  I have to share some of them because Madison and her mommy are BFF’s for sure!

 

But tonight…

Kaden got some mommy time and can i just say…

All the future Mrs. Kaden-wannabe’s… you better watch out for his mommy.

Thank you so much for letting me re-take the pictures on one of Kaden’s “good days”.  It’s photos like these that remind me of why I enjoy being behind the camera.  Hundreds of years from now, your great-grandchildren will look at these pictures and never question the love you have for Madison and Kaden.

The Shelton Family

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to meet a really awesome family!  Between the two of them, they have 6 (count ‘em …SIX) awesome kids.

Despite the brisk fall day, this family was able to

work.it.out.

 

Meet Jennifer and Andy… the leaders of this awesome pack.

 

 

Their kids were so awesome to work with.  Especially the girls, who really seemed to LOVE the camera.  (Which made me love them even more!)

Mike + Kim

This weekend, I had the opportunity to hang out with Mike and Kim for a couple of hours and take some fun photos with just the two of them.

They were up for anything, which I love about a couple.  Mike smiled and followed directions quite well!

Meet Mike and Kim…

Kim and I met a few years ago when our boys started playing flag football together.

She started dating Mike a while ago, and I am so glad that she’s found someone to make her happy!

Meow….

How funny is the duck to the left of the picture?  That duck kept quacking the entire time we were there.  Finally – it started flocking us… we got the hint and left the area.

I told them to stare at the duck adoringly like it was their child.  How funny?!  …they actually did it!
