Thursday evening I was lucky enough to hang out with Denni + Lexi for an hour and get some pictures of this mother daughter duo!
Lexi was featured in my blog back in October and guess what... her mommy is expecting a new baby girl (we think) in August. Not only will she have her hands completely full with a 10 month old + Newborn.... she will most definately have double the blessings in her life.
I love to take maternity photos because 1.) it is the most miraculous thing a woman's body can do. 2.) Pregnant women are BEAUTIFUL! 3.) Most pregnant women start to feel fat and ugly and truly do not realize how special of a time it is for them. It's so nice to look back on the pictures of your baby inside you, growing before you ever even met them. It reminds me of the quote, "before I knew you... I loved you".
Meet Lexi...
Obviously Lexi has absolutely no clue that she's going to be a big sister in a couple of months. The good thing though is that she will never remember life before her little sister came along. So many older siblings struggle with that aspect once baby 2 comes along, so luckily - Lexi will probably never go through that. In the meantime, she is the happiest little girl!! I don't think she was too sure about the grass that she was sitting on, so we were having a hard time getting smiles out of the blue eyed beauty!
So we added her mommy to the mix.
After a little while, we let Miss Lexi play in the grass while me + Mommy got some fun pictures of just her (...and her baby belly!).
Ohhhh look at those piggggggies!!!
Congratulations Denni ... I can't wait to meet your newest blessing. I know she will be absolutely beautiful.
