Rachel + Josh

I’m just going to warn you ahead of time.  This blog is PACKED full of pictures.

Last weekend, I had the awesome opportunity to photograph Rachel and Josh’s wedding in Greenwood. 

From the moment I met Rachel back in the spring, when I took her engagement pictures, I knew she was my kind of gal!  Funny, happy, full of life and absolutely gorgeous.

Mix that with a good-hearted, genuine, down-to-earth and totally in-love-with-her guy… and you have ONE AWESOME COUPLE.

There wasn’t one detail left out of their big day.  Rachel and Josh chose a quaint little white church in the “country” for their ceremony… and it couldn’t have been any cuter.

 

Her aisles were lined with leaves, which gave it a nice “fall” appeal…

Look at the hardware!?!  Can i get a Woot-Woot?!  (sorry, i had to.)

I love this picture of Rachel’s dad giving Josh a “talk” prior to the ceremony.  The only thing that makes it better, is the look on Josh’s face!

I love the placement of the cross in this picture.  I hope Rachel and Josh will always remember that as long as God is in the center of their relationship – their lives will be blessed.

 

Rachel didn’t think she’d get emotional during the ceremony, but it was so incredibly sweet when she had to take a moment to pause before completing her vows.

Their reception was held at The Columns in Greenwood as well.  I’d never been there before, but I was floored at the awesomeness of the reception.  It was absolutely beautiful inside.

Wow… thank you Rachel and Josh for asking me to photograph such an important day in your lives.  Would it be wrong of me to say that i’m sad that it’s over?  I enjoyed working with you both so much! 

Jessica+Josh+Adelin+Ryan+Layla

Recently, I had the exciting opportunity to catch up with a girl that I went to school with all the way in Elementary!  (Thanks Crystal!)

She called me up a couple of weeks ago and told me that our mutual friend had told her that I took photos on the side.  Within a short amount of time, we had a date scheduled!

I was so excited to meet her sweet daughter Adelin and her neice Layla!

 

Adelin was almost 7 months old at our photo shoot.  She is so laid back!  She didn’t get fussy until the very end, which was so sweet! 

Let me tell you how much her parents adore her.

Jess – your family is A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E.

 

Layla, Jessica’s neice had such a fun personality!  She was a little bit shy at first, but really opened up as we hung out more throughout the session.

I learned a few things about Layla.  I learned that she’s almost 6.  She’s in kindergarten and ….

oh my goodness – does she love her daddy.

 

The purpose was to get a few good pictures of the whole family for Christmas gifts.

The King Family

Recently, I had the opportunity to take some family photos of my sister’s family.

It was a COLLLLD and windy day, but everyone hung in there the best they could while I snapped a few photos.

 

We got off to a a little bit of a rough start with the youngest, Brianna … as she didn’t want to smile (much less look at) the camera…

But… she started to come around after a few minutes!

Vanessa had the smiling down from the minute she arrived!

And Gavin was quite a trooper for having family pictures done!

Brandi Maternity

WOW… i just realized how incredibly behind I am at posting photo sessions!

I’ve been photographing Brandi since she was a Senior in High School.  Back before i had a DSLR camera!  Anyway – Brandi was due to have her second baby (a Girl!!) and as we did with her first pregnancy – she wanted some pregnancy photos before Miss Alexiah came.

So, she and her cute family drove up to the park in Pendleton and we took some fun pictures!

Brandi’s son Izayah just turned 2, so he was definately a hand full when it came to getting those “precious” big brother photos.

But we worked with him :)

 

Is this a perfectly round belly or what?  (I can tell you for a fact, mine NEVER looked this good!)

 

This is the first time a guy has EVER gotten the “heart” right on the very first try.

Brandon – you are a CHAMP.
